How do you know what your In-App Announcements will look like when they are presented to your customers? We recommend creating a Test Success Panel that only displays to an Internal test account, and then you can construct a message to go to that account.
Setting Up An Internal Success Panel
You can display different Success Panels to an account based off of the segment that they fall into. In order to set up an Internal Success Panel you will first need to construct an account segment that only applies to an internal account. You can do this by filtering on an account attribute that designates an account as internal, or just use the "Account Name" attribute and filter on the name of a specific account.
Once this segment is created, create a new success panel and apply that newly constructed account segment.
Note: Make sure that this new Panel is the first Panel in your list. If it's not, the account might fall into one of your other Panels.
You can check to see if your account is qualifying for the correct Success Panel by navigating to the Account Profile.
Set Up Your In-App Message
Once you have the perfect In-App Message constructed, you can manually send the message to your customers. To do this, go to the contact profile of an account and use the "Compose" button. This will allow you to manually send an in app message to that selected cotnact.
If everything looks good, go back to your old play, copy the content into a new play, and change the segment criteria to go out to your selected segment!
